Harbor to the Bay

This coming weekend, Pete will be riding in Harbor to the Bay, a 125 mile bike ride from Boston to Provincetown which supports finding a cure for AIDS and improving the care of those suffering from the disease. The crazy little cyclist that he is, Pete has done other bike rides (or, as I’m told they’re called, “tours”) in Canada, although this ride will be the most miles in one day.
And although Massachusetts cyclists drive me crazy, mostly because they are always in my way while driving, come too far out into the road, don’t follow traffic laws, weave in between cars and constantly cut you off, and/or drive right in the middle of the road and cause a traffic jam that, to those behind you, appears to be your fault, I am excited about this particular bike ride.
Mostly because it means I get to go to Cape Cod this weekend. Which is why I am now looking for places to go and things to do. Perhaps a trip to Truro Vineyards? The Jazz Jam at The Island Merchant? Dinner at The Red Inn? A lobster roll at The Lobster Pot?
Good thing I have all week to plan.
